Next week at Ralston School : - Monday, November 1st we start our Chat94.5 Food Drive at the school, the class that brings in the most items will win a Pizza Party for the class. The Food Drive runs till Tuesday, November 16th. We will also be selling Poppies in the office from Monday, if you want to send your child in with a donation they can collect a poppy. All money raised goes to the Canadian Poppy Appeal. The classes that won the Timbits for the Halloween Door decorating competition were K (Miss Otters Class) and Grade 5 (Mrs Dixons Class). Mr Gary Margerison Link Inspector Advisor for Defence Children's Services has been offered the opportunity to visit our MOD Schools teachers at Ralston School from Monday 25th October until Friday 29th October. His main role when not visiting BATUS, is to support schools across the Defence Rest of the World Schools. As many of our families may transfer to other schools overseas – you may have questions for him. He will be available to meet in person at the Jubilee Arms basement on Wednesday 27th October between 1300 and 1500. Of course the normal COVID exemptions apply in this context. If you have questions, this is a fantastic opportunity to talk face to face so come along.

Ralston School will be participating in the CHAT94 Food Drive again this year. We will be collecting foodbank items as classes, the class that brings in the most weight of items will win a Pizza Party. Last year we collected over 650lbs of food for this very worthwhile cause. We ask that students bring items in from Monday, November 1st till Tuesday, 16th November. Please do not send any open packets or half used packets in with students as we are not able to send them to the foodbank. Next week at Ralston School :- Monday, October 25th - Pizza73 order forms are due back with payment by 3pm. Friday, October 29th - School Spirit Day - Halloween dress, spooky wear. Pizza73 Lunch for those students that have pre-ordered. Friday afternoon classes will be attending the Haunted House at the theatre in the village. Classes will be going across at scheduled times, teachers will be sharing the times on Seesaw. ALL students in JK-Gr 9 have to wear their masks please make sure the younger students bring their masks on this day.
